Ruby Treasure Jerusalem Artichoke Tubers

A very productive red skinned variety of sunchoke.  The tubers are long and slender, as opposed to knobby like Corlis Bolton and some others.  If you like them peeled (which I don’t) this is a good variety for that purpose in particular.  The long tubers tend to develop around the plant, as much as 2 feet out from the base, so these are travelers and you need to check well around the plant to get them all.  Quite a pretty tuber, and easy to spot in the soil.  5 tubers per order.  *All Jerusalem Artichokes are mailed in a tracked shipping box.  Select the $8.00 flat rate at checkout, if your order contains 9 or less packs of beans.  Select the $15.00 shipping rate if you have 10 packs of beans or  more included in your tuber order.  I mail tubers separately from the seeds.  If you’ve ordered both seeds and tubers and want your entire order mailed in a single tracked shipping box, select the ‘Tracked Shipping Box’ option in the checkout.  I will forward you the tracking number once the parcel is mailed.  Please note: Jerusalem Artichokes can cause gas in some people because of the inulin they contain. While I don’t have that experience with these tubers, some people definitely do!
