Vitalis Pole Bean Seeds

One of the biggest pole bean plants of 2025, and perhaps the tallest – this one is aptly named! ‘Vitalis’ is a bean developed by the organic seed company Vitalis Organic Seed and its namesake. It was established in 1994 by breeder Jan Velema in the Netherlands, with a focus on organic seed breeding. The plants were so notably vigorous and high yielding it makes sense! A really excellent bean for the North, perfectly suits our climate and dries easily after a long season. Many thanks to Nitya of Beany Things for sending these!
