Trebulino di Domenico Bean Seeds

An Italian heirloom variety originating with Domenico Angelini, the originator of the famous bean variety ‘Monachello di Trevio’ – another gorgeous bean. The ‘Trebulino’ refers to a small hamlet near Trevio. This bean was named by the fabulous seed hunter Joseph Simcox for Mr. Angelini (it would seem). The seeds are very pretty indeed – a white seed overlaid in a fleshy taupe colour with chocolate swirls. Seeds are somewhat flattened. I believe this is a bean for use green, but I’m not 100% certain. Rare. 2023 seed.  Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Russ Crow, Woodstock, Illinois.
