Novella Hyper Tendril Shelling Pea Seeds

A unique, leafless shelling pea. Very high table quality, sweet and tasty peas produced in abundance. A hyper tendril variety that clings to its supports tightly. A few twigs pushed between the plants will hold them up very well in a block formation. Some claim they become a self-supporting mass, but in my experience this was not true and my second crop failed when I tried to grow them without support. Very high yielding and super sweet. A truly great pea, shown be more widely known. Probably bred to have less leaves to prevent powdery mildew. My plants were fantastically healthy all summer long when supported.  2023 seed.
