Another rare longkeeper, one of the lesser known ones for sure. Madagascar is a diminutive longkeeper variety, about the size of a small plum or apricot. These can be picked quite green and will ripen to a dark pink with yellow highlights. The taste is quite good considering I picked them green! It may be possible to pick these at a more mature stage as well. But I decided to pick them immature and see the results. The 1st photo was taken in mid January 2025, after being picked in early Sept. 2024. The 2nd photo in late September 2024.
