Kelvedon Wonder Shelling Pea Seeds

Excellent shelling peas, beautiful smooth pods on short plants up to about 18″, possibly 24″ in very fertile soil or slight shade. Absolutely delicious sweet peas, with generous pods containing up to 8 peas, with often two pods per node. This is one of my favourite peas, delicious, hardy, sweet, always dries down very well for me and shells very easily. It is also considered a super early pea, and in England also went by the name ‘First Early’. I do give the plants small twigs to climb on. It has taken me some time to build up enough seeds to offer it as it was so hard to initially get even a small sample.  2020 seed.
