Argenteum Pea Seeds

Very unusual dwarf, bush variety less than 2′. Plants are a ghostly silvery green, also goes by the name ‘Silver Leaf’. Flowers are beautiful, pink and cream. So early, which is nice because these blooms can be enjoyed before the others begin. Dried peas are a very dark green olive colour with speckles. Can be eaten as a shelling pea as well as used as a dry pea. Limited supply. Rare. Given the unusual and not well understood genetics of this variety, it will probably always throw out a few green leaf plants. Just cull those to keep the population trending to silver.  2021 seed.
