Hawkesbury Wonder Bush Bean Seeds

A new bean I decided to try in 2023, and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s an Australian heirloom snap bean that is still grown today. Pods are green and somewhat flattened, not quite a true pencil pod type. Plants are good producers, and the variety is dual purpose – the seeds are substantial, somewhat like a kidney bean and can also be used for cooking. Seed colour is a purplish burgundy and quite pretty. 2023 seed.
