This ‘Goose Neck’ bean is an Appalachian heirloom, one of the most popularly grown ones in fact, according to Sustainable Mountain Agriculture Center. It isn’t commercially available in Canada. Pods are large and tender, quite early maturing too. The seeds of this variety are very large and a light brown color. As the pods dry down they turn yellow and pink. Due to the size of the seeds, 10-12seeds/packet. 2024 seed.
