Syrian Fire Bush Bean Seeds

I have seen this bean around for awhile now, and finally decided to try it in 2024. This was one of those ‘thank goodness’ beans, because I really am glad I did. ‘Syrian Fire’ way outperformed any expectations I had, particularly since I did not give it especially good garden real estate. With a bit less water than normal, and some shade in later afternoon the plants still produced like gangbusters. I was quite shocked, and the quality of the seed was still very good.  The seeds are a gorgeous pink and burgundy marble, I’ve read it is eaten as both a snap as well as used as a dry bean.  Rare. 2024 seed.
