I received this bean from an SSE member who preserves many rare seeds, but am not certain of its older origins. The name is in Hungarian, so that is a clue. In context ‘Fagy Után’ often refers to timing relative to a frost, and I’m guessing this means either it’s planted after last frost or harvested; beans for dry use are not sensitive to frosts once they’ve partially dried. Could be either I guess! I am not sure if this one is for use as snaps, so until I grow it again and eat some fresh I’ll list it as a dry bean.
