Blue Grey Speckled Tepary Bean Seeds

I didn’t really believe that beans from such a super hot & arid climate could flourish where I live In Northern Ontario, but these sure did. The plants and their leaves are quite tiny, and they do twirl around a little with slightly reachy runners. I didn’t give them anything to climb but no matter because the vines and pods didn’t touch the ground or become compromised in any way. The pods are super teeny, and there are a lot of them. I will definitely grow them again. I think that they could probably be grown quite crowded, which would help compensate for how small the beans are. A tough little species indeed. 2022 seed.
