Nips Tomato Seeds

I purchased the seeds for these probably 10 years ago and never grew them. Concerned that they were lost to age, I planted some in 2022. (A testament to seed longevity because the germination rate was nearly 100%.) I remember there was a story with this one, but can’t remember what it was. Anyway, it’s a FABULOUS tomato. It’s big, probably 10 or 12+ oz, and the shape is sort of wide and enlarged, like a very large pear. I put it in the cooking tomato section because it is so meaty and the shape, but the taste is great fresh and it could be eaten out of hand too. The aroma is even good when cut.
