This tomato seems to be one that is either loved or loathed, with no in between. I fall under the column of ‘love’. The taste is intense, with a lot of tomatoey goodness in there. The colour is bizarre – brownish red with jagged green stripes. The plants are very compact, and these tomatoes last a long time on the counter. The flesh of the fruits is, I think, what might put people off – they are indeed very firm. It was released to the public in 2000.
