Ascherslebener Meisterwerk Pole Bean Seeds

An old German heirloom bean whose name translates to ‘Aschersleben Masterpiece’ – and that it is. This was a super fantastic green bean variety – early to make big, tender juicy pods and early to dry down for seeds as well. Very productive, lots and lots of pods. Meaty quality to the beans. It amazes me that beans such as this can do so magnificently in my Northern Ontario garden. A real gem.
