Aloisia Schwarz Pole Bean Seeds

$4.00

A lovely old pole bean from Styria, Austria’s second largest state known for it’s wine, spas and castles. The green beans are slightly curved, in the ‘kiplfer’ style though considerably larger than the average kipfler beans I’ve grown. For eating as a snap bean, wonderfully prolific. ‘Aloisia’ is a girl’s name that translates to mean ‘glorious in battle’ or ‘famous warrior’, no doubt a flattering description of the bean’s performance and quality. Extremely rare. Black seeded. 2024 seeds.
