Gravedigger Shell Pea Seeds

An absolutely wonderful shelling pea, large, sweet and prolific. These peas were collected by the Heritage Seed Library in the UK from a fellow who received them from a local gravedigger, hence the name. I love this pea. Its height is manageable, about 4 feet, and fits nicely on a low trellis. Pods are a good height from the ground; it’s a little later than some other shelling peas I’ve grown, but later varieties tend to be better producers. One of the heaviest producing peas of 2023. A winner all around. A+. Rare. 2023 seed.
