Zwolse Paarse Pole Bean Seeds

A gorgeous dark purple, marble shaped bean from Europe. Great production, for dry use though it might possibly be eaten fresh when young as it has a snap bean in its parentage. This bean was found in the garden of Lambert Sijens of Tuinen van Weldadigheid, or “Gardens of Mercy'” in the city Zwolle in the Netherlands. This is a lovely coloured bean, very shiny smooth beans that produce well. rare. 2023 seed.  Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Artur Kobylecki, Kielce Poland.
