A bush bean originally from Peru. This bean is for dry use, seeds are a cherry rose colour with white speckles, round seed. This bean has undergone some selection in North America to be better able to mature reliably in a North American climate, and it seems to have been successful. Quite rare. 2023 seed. Gratefully received from generous grower Jack Halloway, Salem, Oregon.
