Weaver Pole Bean Seeds

An old American heirloom pole bean developed by the C. H. Weaver Seed Company in Brawley, California during the 1930’s. Beans can be used as snap beans, but the seeds are a fair size and could also be used as dry beans. I do think its original primary use was as a snap bean though. Seeds are a brownish grey colour, a little uneven by nature. Pods dry down to large, puffy air filled pods that are very easy to shell. A piece of history! Rare. 2023 seed.  Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Russ Crow, Woodstock, Illinois.
