A bean sent to me by generous grower J.B. Smith in Burlington, Vermont, and I’m grateful as these did not disappoint. Early maturing, huge production, very hardy plants that could even handle a little afternoon shade. Not for use fresh, but as a dried bean. Seeds are pale beige with maroon flecking, fairly round and medium to large size. Dried pods are stiff and easy to shell. 2023 seed.
