Stephano Borlotti D’Avento Pole Bean Seeds

An Italian heirloom bean of massive size and production. The vines reached 12 feet tall and then broke my pole! They had to complete maturity hanging broken. But mature they did, and these beans were worth the trouble. Huge seeds in beige with maroon flecks, shaped like large marbles. Beans are for dry use. Fantastic variety. Rare. 2023 seed.  Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Russ Crow, Woodstock, Illinois.
