Stangenbohne Ilanz Pole Bean Seeds

Stangenbohn Ilanz is a Swiss heirloom pole bean traditionally grown in the region around Ilanz, a town in the Canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. The name literally means “pole bean from Ilanz” ,  “stangenbohne” is German for pole bean.  Grown in Ilanz since before 1900,  it’s a long‑established local cultivar rather than a modern commercial variety.  A dual use bean, the long green pods can be eaten fresh and the white seeds used as soup beans.  20 seeds per packet.
