Selugia Pole Bean Seeds

A heritage New Zealand variety, though it’s believed to have arrived in New Zealand with a returning serviceman after the war. This is a drying bean with spectacular colour – a light navy blue with hints of plum when slightly immature, speckled in cream. Seeds are shaped like jelly beans, more round than flat. Seed pods are curved like kipfler beans as well. Beautiful bean variety. Rare. 2023 seed.  Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Russ Crow, Woodstock, Illinois.
