Schwarze Dalmatin Bush Bean Seeds

A German heirloom bean for dry use. The name translates to ‘Black Dalmations’, which describes well the look of these lovely beans – white with very, very fine black speckling. The seeds are jelly bean shaped and very smooth, with pods that hang well above the ground. I actually took a bunch of photos of the pods (which I never do) because they were the cleanest, most perfectly blonde dried pods I think I’ve ever harvested. Bush bean pods can get pretty dirty in some years, especially rainy ones, but these didn’t. I was nearly in awe of their perfection. The quality of the seeds was very high as well. Production was great. Fantastic dry bean variety. 2022 seed. Originally from Tree & Twig Farm.
