A semi-runner green snap bean, bred by Asgrow Seed Company in 1947. A wonderful old bean in need of some help sticking around, I received this bean from the bean collection of Russ Crow of Woodstock, Illinois. Russ has done so very much to help keep alive so many heirloom bean varieties from around the world. A lovely green snap bean, with professional breeding behind it for pathogens that tend to affect this species. Seeds are thin, white and small. Rare. 2024 seed.
