A.k.a. ‘Muotathaler’. An extraordinary purple podded variety, plants are vigorous and very productive. The pods are enormously long, and a deep, deep purple color. Darker than others I’ve grown. Almost like a romano type of purple pod, but on steroids. A really exceptional bean, delicious. Rare. I believe this is a Swiss bean given the name; Muotathal is a village in Switzerland. 2024 seed.
