Provider Bush Bean Seeds

An American heirloom bush bean dating to 1965, released by horticulturalist Dr. Hoffman of the South Carolina USDA breeding facility. Used most often as a snap bean. Productive variety with round green pods, 5-6″ long. Great flavour, a popular variety for good reason. Tolerant of cooler weather. Dark burgundy seed. Was selected for use in freezing and canning, but is an all around work-horse bean that is great freshly steamed too. Excellent disease resistance. 2020 seed.
