Bred by the Kelway family, of Langport, Somerset. This pea dates as far back as 1851 and is one of those great Old English peas. A shelling pea whose vines seem to make the pods all at the same time, peas are sweet and delicious. Great harvest of peas on 5 foot vines. A really great variety that is, sadly, quite rare outside of England. 2022 seed.
