Myrtle Allen Pole Bean Seeds

$4.00

A fabulously productive pole bean for fresh eating. Having only a small sample I did not try these but I’m guessing they’re delicious as they are named for the famous Myrtle Allen, who was an Irish Michelin star-winning head chef and co-owner of the restaurant The Yeats Room at Ballymaloe House in Shanagarry, County Cork. She has been called the “renowned matriarch of Modern Irish cuisine”, and the leading light of modern-day Irish cooking. Vines are hugely productive and early to mature, pod are green and medium sized. Seeds are small, oblong and white and pods dry down to look like necklaces. Very rare. 2024 seed.
