A European heirloom bush bean that originated in Sicily. A romano variety, with meaty & tender pods. Absolutely delicious snap beans. Very different type of green bean than the pencil pod types. Dry seed is black, round and on the larger side. Wonderful variety. Very unlike pencil pod types and truly delicious. I steam these for breakfast. 202o seed.
