After growing this variety a few times, I’ve come to the conclusion that it is a rather underrated shelling pea. The pods are the largest I’ve ever seen, with the possible exception of Large Manitoba, a pod is as long as the palm of my hand. Seeds, 9 or 10 in a pod, are very sweet and large. Vines grow to about 3 or 4 feet. 2023 seed. Production is good.
