Mangetout le Pleine Panier Semi-Runner Bean

A fantastic heirloom semi-runner bean from France, for dry use. A remarkably high yielding bean, grows to about 4 feet. Fairly early to mature as well. 6 plants yielded 1.5 pounds of dry beans. Seeds are a maroon – burgundy with cream flecks, with a shape that is more long than round. Very healthy robust bean variety which is extremely rare and hard to find. 2023 seed.  Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Russ Crow, Woodstock, Illinois.
