An old heirloom dry pea hailing from the Island of Lolland in Denmark. Vigorous semi-leafless pea that exhibits a hyper tendril habit, flowers in the most gorgeous pink and white blooms. Cookbooks dating to the 17th century document the use of these dried peas in recipes, the name translates to mean ‘Lolland Raisins’. These peas started to drift out of use until they were rescued by Danish Seed Savers and other such seed associations. Rare! 2024 seed.
