Lavender Bush Bean Seeds

A bean with a convoluted travel record. The seed came to North America from the incredible seed collection of Russ Crow, of Woodstock Illinois. He received the bean from an Australian grower who got it from an Australian Seed Bank, though the bean originally came from a seed bank in Germany. I believe it’s a snap bean, though the colour is a very striking shade of mauve. Seed is smooth and elongated. Rare.  Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Russ Crow, Woodstock, Illinois.
