Kyoto Pole Bean Seeds

A rare pole bean presumably from Japan. This is a variety for use as a green snap bean, pods are on the long side and pencil pod shaped. Very nice production, and lovely beans – very tender. A mid-season maturing bean, even if directly seeded, transplants would make it an early variety. Seeds are ivory, medium sized and slightly elongated. Rare. 2023 seed.  Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Russ Crow, Woodstock, Illinois.
