Klapprot’s Graubeige Pole Bean Seeds

$5.00

Such a charming name, it appears to come from a Professor Klapprott, a bean collector credited with preserving and sharing the variety after collecting it in Slovakia.  According to seed catalogs and heirloom lists, the variety was originally collected in Slovakia by Prof. Klapprott.   I believe this bean is for use as a green snap bean when young, and also is used as a dry soup bean.  ‘Graubeige’ is a nod to the color of the seeds.  A rare bean I received from a wonderful seed saving friend in the UK.  Many thanks Jan! 15 Seeds/packet
