Julifreude Pole Bean Seeds

The name of this bean translates to ‘Joy of July’ and it really is! I usually grow close to 100 bean types a year and there are always a handful that really stand out for one reason or another. 2023 was my first grow out of this bean and it was one of those standouts. In the top 5 for sure. Long dangling green pods with a fairly pencil pod shape, with superb texture, and ridiculously good production. Delicious. This is a green bean of true excellence and phenomenal breeding. A German heirloom dating to 1960. Rare. 2023 seed.  Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Artur Kobylecki, Kielce, Poland.
