Harwig’s Belgium Heirloom Pole Bean Seeds

When I grew these this summer I believed that they were solely for use as a dried bean variety. However, I have since discovered that this is actually a filet type green bean! So now I have no idea how they taste, because I didn’t try them! I can say though that they were very productive, the vines were loaded with small green pods and dried down quite early on. This is an older variety dating back at least as far as 1900. A rather rare bean. Harwig’s can also be used as a dry bean, seeds are white and about the size of a navy bean. 2023 seed.
