A large red cherry type tomato, slightly oblong. Very good yields on medium sized plants. Grappoli D’Inverno is a variety traditionally grown for storage and keeping through the early winter months, hence the other name it goes by ‘winter grapes’. Farmers would hang the vines and the tomatoes would ripen slowly that way. My experience with this variety in 2024 was that the plants should be started a bit later than regular tomatoes, or the storage ability of the fruits will be shorter. It’s probably best to pull the plants out of the ground and hang them just before the fruits turn red. 2024 seed.
