A lovely variety from Quebec, a wax bean for use as a snap when young and the pods still have a touch of green on them. Really more of a dual purpose bean as the seeds are a good size for cooking, blackish purple in color. A variety that was grown by the Dinel family for over 100 years. Plants were healthy and vigorous, even though I grew them in light shade. 2024 seed.
