Pole Bean Seeds
Graines de Café Pole Bean Seeds
$4.00
Open pollinated European pole bean introduced to North America by Russ Crow of Illinois. Intended for dry use; this may be a heritage variety though I’m not sure. It was originally from an Austrian donor, though whether Austria is its country of origin I don’t know. A large, round, milk chocolate coloured bean. Just gorgeous. Also, of course, reminiscent of coffee beans though not that dark. Very uncommon appearance and is hugely productive as well as early. Beautiful & rare. 6 plants produced 1.7 lbs of dried beans. Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Russ Crow, Woodstock, Illinois.
