Georgian Black & White Pole Bean Seeds

A bean from the former Soviet Republic of Georgia in the Caucasus region near the Black Sea. This bean was brought to North America by the incredible international seed hunter Joseph Simcox, who is also author of the book ‘Bizarre Edible Plants: Unknown Delicacies’. A simply gorgeous bean that is half black, half white lengthwise and a slightly elongated seed shape. Matured a wee bit late for my area, but it went in mostly as seed so it was a bit behind the others. Still, I got all the pods to full maturity in the house. A fantastic bean, a wise and incredible man! So glad to have this bean in my collection.  2022 seed.  Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Russ Crow, Woodstock, Illinois.
