Dragon’s Tongue Bush Bean Seeds

A European heirloom bush bean. Originally cultivated in the Netherlands in the late 18th century. From there it spread to France (its other names are ‘Dragon Langerie’ and ‘Merveille de Piemonte’) and England and eventually the New World. A lovely wax bean with gorgeous purple streaking across the pods. Slightly longer than the average wax bean. Superlative, first rate snap bean. Pod shape is flattened, not a pencil pod type. Striking and unique.
