Dead Viking Dry Pea Seeds

This is the most unique, and frankly bizarre, pea I’ve ever grown. The seeds are super tiny, smaller than petit pois seeds, and they have intense coloration – lots of purple speckling and a percentage of the peas are inky purple. They are quite the little producers for such teeny little things, and the vines were just loaded with pods. I can only imagine this pea must be for soups. I think this may be a historical variety.
