An American heirloom from the town of Buxton, Maine – apparently named for it’s similarity to actual buckshot. Such an unusual type of bean, seeds are small, very round, beige and highly speckled in a dark color, perhaps dark grey or deep purple. Small pods on the vines, utterly extreme yields. A little late to mature, but still did great here in Northern Ontario. Wonderful and rare variety. 2024 seed.
