A tall semi-runner that is considered to be ‘an old time’ bean. Vines produce 4 – 6 inch green pods in abundance, with all the wonderful qualities of fresh eating Southern snap beans. Most descriptions of this bean include that it’s tenderness surpasses that of modern half runners. The tips of these beans truly do turn a dark blue with age. A wonderful bean variety not on the market in Canada, and relatively rare even in the US. Did very well for me here in Northern Ontario. 2024 seeds.
