Berliner Markthallen Bush Bean Seeds

The name translates to ‘Berlin Market Halls’ which is a significant historical reference to the large, covered public markets built in Berlin in the late 19th century to sell perishable foods (meat, fish, dairy, fruit, vegetables) in one central location.  Starting in 1883, 14 market halls were built around Berlin by municipal planners and architects like Hermann Blankenstein and August Lindemann.  I can only guess that this bean was offered at some time within these markets.  A rare historical bean, likely a dual purpose variety.  Yellow pods.  20 seeds/packet
