Armenian Giant Black Pole Bean Seeds

Incredible bean! I grew this for the first time in 2022 and its growth was bodacious. Humongous seed production for such huge bean seeds! That said, my understanding is that it’s a snap bean. The green pods are huge, the dried seeds are shiny black. This variety defies so many bean tendencies I’ve seen, it doesn’t succumb to humidity related issues despite the huge pod size, and the enormous bean seeds were some of the first beans to dry down of all the pole beans, which was a revelation. A bean that is very uncommon, and presumably, arrives here from Armenia. Superb.  Gratefully received from the wonderful collection of Russ Crow, Woodstock, Illinois.
