Lucie Pole Bean Seeds

A European heirloom from Drevhostic, Czech Republic. I wouldn’t have believed there was a bean as gorgeous as this that could have so many other great qualities if I didn’t grow it myself. This is a large marble shaped bean, extremely high yielding for its size and the colour is really marvellous – a deep plum shade covering the top half of snow white beans, with the plum containing small ivory flecks. Wonderfully early to dry down, another surprising quality for a bean of this size. Excellent variety, and extremely rare. 3 plants produced 1.8 pounds of bean seeds. Dry bean variety.
